Dvolver moviemaker is an inexpensive tool that can be fun and innovative for all ages. With this web 2.0 tool, you can select your own characters, background and images. You can also add animation to the scenario, create a dialogue, and add music of your choice, then share it with others.


Jing is a tool that captures images or animations on your computer with your own voice narratives. Once captured, The images or videos can be available instantly on the Web if the user sends them through either or saves them locally and uploads to the website, like your blog site.


Museum Box is a free web 2.0 tool that allows you to organize and display content (text, audio, video and images) in a structured way. It is a virtual box where each box represent events related to the main topic. It is easy to share your museum box and also easy to view museum boxes that others created.

SCOOP.IT! is a free, web-based tool that allows you to collect and share links to articles on your topics of interest in an electronic magazine format. As the user, or curator of your topics, you link topic-related articles (scoops) to add to you topic page, creating posts. The site can even do some of the work of finding scoops for you.

Wordnik, previously Alphabeticall, is a tool that provides information about all English words. These include definitions, examples of how to use, related words - antonyms, synonyms, images, sounds and statistics.
