Assign-a-Day is a website created for teachers to create calendars that can be shared with other teachers and students. It is a free tool that allows teachers to create and manage calendars, add and delete assignments, and give a description of assignments, which can then be shared with colleagues or students. Students can see assignments for their classes to get an overview of what is coming up and help them stay on track with due dates.


A Web-based tool that allows teachers to create variety of flash based activities. There are no required downloads and user friendly and step-by-step instructions make it easier for the user to follow and use the given flash templates and create a unique activity.


DocsPal is a free online file-type converter and viewer. One can convert documents, video files, audio files, images, e-books, and archived files from one file type to another. You can also view images and documents in your browser.


Doodle is an easy to use web 2.0 tool that allows you to create schedules and invite others in a created schedule or event. It offers both individual appointments and group scheduling with details on the time and date for that schedule.

FLOWCHART is an online multi-user, real-time collaboration flow charts service. All collaborating parties can chat and design flow charts at the same time. You can also record and playback your flowchart creation process. Final flowcharts can be exported as PNG picture or a PDF. It is a web-based program and works in all the browsers.


Hootsuite is a social media management web 2.0 tool. With this tool you can manage multiple social networks (e.g. facebook, twitter, google+, instagram etc.) in one place. In addition you can schedule messages and tweets and analyze your social media traffic. It's a great way to organize and keep track of all social networks in one location.


iSpeech is a high quality text to speech and speech recognition provider. You can use the tool online or through applications provided for phones and tablets. Other popular mobile apps targeted for specific purposes are®, iSpeech Translator", and Caller ID Reader".


LiveBinders is a Web2.0 tool that helps you organize online web pages into an electronic binder. The tool lets you look at multiple web sites, Word documents, and PDFS within the same 'binder' window, organized by tabs, however you have put them together. A user can also add a few comments about each tab , allowing the reader some insight into the creator's organization.


Mendeley is a great reference management tool that can be used to find and organize literature research process. It allows easy management and citation of reference, make annotations for a research and manage a bibliography. It also enables collaboration by inviting colleagues to participate in a research. With Mendeley you can also discover latest research. It is a free web 2.0 tool that requires installation.


Pocket was formerly called "Read it Later" and it is basically a way to save articles, videos, and images that you would like to read or view later. You can save them from your web browser, email account, or app. You can go to your queue any time to click and read or view what you have saved for later.


VocabGrabber analyzes any text you're interested in, generating lists of the most useful vocabulary words and showing you how those words are used in context. Just copy text from a document and paste it into the box, and then click on the "Grab Vocabulary!" button. VocabGrabber will automatically create a list of vocabulary from your text, which you can then sort, filter, and save.
