CACOO

Cacoo is an online web 2.0 tool that can be used collaboratively to create, organize, and share diagrams, graphic organizers, network, flow, and seating charts, etc. Cacoo has a library of symbols and stencils that can be easily accessed and arranged to create a diagram or chart by multiple, real-time users. The created diagrams can then be shared and viewed openly by all or made private for view by selective users.

CREATELY

Creately is a web-based tool that allows users to create diagrams, graphs, charts and wireframes. It can be used online using a browser or the software can be downloaded and used. Depending on the membership the tool allows collaboration and sharing among its users.

DRAW ANYWHERE

This is a simple, free online tool where anyone can create diagrams. It is an excellent resource that allows for critical thinking and looking at any process with an analytical eye. All that is needed is internet access, a flash player, and a diagram that you want to create. Draw Anywhere allows for "concept mapping," which is a technique for visualizing relationships between different ideas or thoughts. A map is a graphical tool for organizing knowledge.

EDHEADS

Edheads is an online educational tool that provides free science and math games to be used by teachers in a classroom or by students on their own. The activities are addressed to elementary, middle and high school students.

FLOWCHART

Flowchart.com is an online multi-user, real-time collaboration flow charts service. All collaborating parties can chat and design flow charts at the same time. You can also record and playback your flowchart creation process. Final flowcharts can be exported as PNG picture or a PDF. It is a web-based program and works in all the browsers.

LUCIDCHART

This is a great tool for concept mapping and presenting complex ideas by creating flowcharts This tool also allows collaboration with peers for real-time feedback and brainstorming. Completed charts can be saved, presented or shared with others with edit or read only privileges. Charts created using this tool can be instantly integrated with Google Docs/Drive and other Google apps.

MAPMYSELF

Mapmyself provides a free site for users to easily create mind maps for any topic. The user must first conceptualize a topic that he or she wants to illustrate with mind mapping. There should be a central theme with several subcategories. Each subcategory can also have branch points and there is the option to annotate notes for any branch point.

MENDELEY

Mendeley is a great reference management tool that can be used to find and organize literature research process. It allows easy management and citation of reference, make annotations for a research and manage a bibliography. It also enables collaboration by inviting colleagues to participate in a research. With Mendeley you can also discover latest research. It is a free web 2.0 tool that requires installation.

POPPLET

Popplet is a web 2.0 tool that allows you to create concept maps and create galleries of content in a fast and easy way. You can add images, videos and texts using Popplet. You can also collaborate real-time on a Popplet.

SKRBL

The web 2.0 tool Skrbl is Simple and easy online multi-user whiteboard. It is also a creative way to share desktops and ideas. It allows teams to look at a single screen and organize their thoughts collectively. You can Sketch, text, share files, upload pictures all in one common shared space. Start Skrbl and share your URL to get working instantly.

STORMBOARD

Edistorm now Stormboard is a program used to replace sticky notes and a whiteboard with online visual and virtual brainstorming. Edistorm/Stormboard is a Collaboration tool. Edistorm/Stormboard allows students or participants to work at the same time or view a teacher's lesson at different times. Participants can vote on which ideas or sticky notes they like the best contributing to the overall collaborative effectiveness.

TIMETOAST

Timetoast is a web 2.0 tool that enables users to create their own interactive timelines for events or projects. These timelines can then be shared on the internet by embedding them into any site. It's easy to join Time Toast and start making your very own chronology straight away.

TWIDDLA

Twiddla is a web-based service that helps distributed teams meet virtually and collaborate in real time by providing tools to create mark-ups of live Web sites, uploaded images and documents, or a blank canvas. In addition to an advanced chat feature, Twiddla offers an opportunity for collaborators to speak with one another via PhoneFromHere.com.

WEBSPIRATION

Webspiration is the online visual thinking, learning and collaboration tool for students, teachers, and thinkers everywhere. It facilitates brainstorming ideas, visualizing concepts, organizing information and collaborating with others anytime, anywhere.

WISEMAPPING

WiseMapping is a web mind mapping tool. Users will be able to create and read their mind maps from everywhere whenever it's needed. The features consist of: (a) Embeding the mind map it in web page, blog or post, (b) linking mind map and documents, (c) sharing mind map.
