Animoto is a web based resource that allows you to bring life and motion to your presentations. With this resource, you can easily add music soundtracks, video and motion to elements of a presentation. Animoto allows the user to take a typical power point slide presentation and make it more visually engaging by adding different elements of sound and visual motion.


Cacoo is an online web 2.0 tool that can be used collaboratively to create, organize, and share diagrams, graphic organizers, network, flow, and seating charts, etc. Cacoo has a library of symbols and stencils that can be easily accessed and arranged to create a diagram or chart by multiple, real-time users. The created diagrams can then be shared and viewed openly by all or made private for view by selective users.


Creately is a web-based tool that allows users to create diagrams, graphs, charts and wireframes. It can be used online using a browser or the software can be downloaded and used. Depending on the membership the tool allows collaboration and sharing among its users.

FLOWCHART is an online multi-user, real-time collaboration flow charts service. All collaborating parties can chat and design flow charts at the same time. You can also record and playback your flowchart creation process. Final flowcharts can be exported as PNG picture or a PDF. It is a web-based program and works in all the browsers.


Glogster is an online interactive poster design site. It allows users to create their glogs and then share them with the world. It replaces the old poster-board projects with an interactive online poster. Glogs can be very simple for new users and involve text and images or become advanced and include multi-media and links to social networking.


Museum Box is a free web 2.0 tool that allows you to organize and display content (text, audio, video and images) in a structured way. It is a virtual box where each box represent events related to the main topic. It is easy to share your museum box and also easy to view museum boxes that others created.


Popplet is a web 2.0 tool that allows you to create concept maps and create galleries of content in a fast and easy way. You can add images, videos and texts using Popplet. You can also collaborate real-time on a Popplet.


Innovative and creative way to create and share presentations without PowerPoint. This zooming presentation tool also offers collaboration features. You can upload existing PowerPoint presentations and tweak it or create your own with various images, text, audio, video and animation.

SCOOP.IT! is a free, web-based tool that allows you to collect and share links to articles on your topics of interest in an electronic magazine format. As the user, or curator of your topics, you link topic-related articles (scoops) to add to you topic page, creating posts. The site can even do some of the work of finding scoops for you.

Voki is a free online service that allows users to create interactive avatars. Avatars can be customized to add voice and other features. The service also includes learning resources, materials and lesson plans on Voki are also available for free. For a secured and organized use of Voki in class, "Voki classroom" can be utilized.


WiZiQ is a tool that creates a virtual classroom. It allows the learners to have a real classroom experience on-line where a teacher interacts with students, explains topics, answers questions, etc. in real time. Live video-audio communication makes the interaction more personal since the teacher and the learners can see and hear each other.
